Puppies are seen by my licensed vet at just a few days old. Their
dewclaws are removed at this visit and their tails docked if applicable.
Typically the poodle and yorkie breeds have docked tails so I have the vet
dock all yorkie poo puppies tails. The maltese has the beautiful plume tail (archs up to back) so I do not
dock this breeds' tails.

Puppies are put on a deworming schedule beginning at 2-3 weeks of age and
are wormed every 2 weeks until they are ready to go to their new homes,
between 8-10 weeks of age.

My vet gives all puppy shots and a record of the vaccinations will
accompany puppy to his/her new home

At the time puppy arrives at his/her new home (if flying it will be
emailed with original copy sent with puppy) you will also be provided a
puppy info sheet that is specific to your particular puppy. It includes
things like eating schedule, sleeping pattern, how your puppy does in
different areas like bathing, potty training etc. You will also get a
copy of my health guarantee which will be signed. New puppy mom or dad's
will sign each copy and keep one for your records and the other copy will
be mailed back to me for my records.
